UPDATE: PLEASE READ OVER THE COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR ADDITIONAL POLICIES + PROCEDURES.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Though I require an appointment to be made, it’s easy to make one – I accept calls and texts during normal business hours, and clients can book online 24/7. The booking system will automatically send out a confirmation of the appointment immediately, as well as a reminder 96 hours prior by email. It’s easy to confirm – simply click the confirmation button to respond. If I don’t receive your email confirmation, I will send a text message 48 hours as a courtesy, not an obligation. Please let me know if your email or phone numbers have changed. For all first time guests, a credit card is required to reserve your appointment.

Please review my cancellation information below before scheduling an appointment. By booking with Reverie Beauty Co, you are accepting the terms and conditions of the cancellation policy.

You will be required to provide a valid credit card number that will be kept on your client file, should repeat cancellations / no show(s) occur. A credit card “HOLD” transaction may be made on your credit card to reserve the appointment time.

Please understand that booking your lash fills in advance will insure they are kept looking full. There is a natural lash shed of 2-5 lashes per day between both eyes. In order to keep your lashes looking lush and full, lash fills are typically booked 3-5 weeks apart. I will help you decide how many weeks is right for you.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW

Please give a 24-hour notice of your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel your reservation. If you are unable to give a heads up, you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service. If you “no show” for you appointment, you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service. I do understand how easy it may be to forget an appointment, so please make sure that your current email address, phone number, and other contact information is up to date on file. It remains your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and help me serve clients better by providing enough notice to avoid any cancellation fees.

Although I sympathize with illness and family emergencies, I cannot be responsible for any last minute cancellations or no shows. Unfortunately, exceptions to this policy are not permitted.

ARRIVAL

It is recommend that you arrive 5-10 min prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow ample time to fill out necessary paperwork. Each new client will be asked to provide a brief history of allergies and medications that may affect your service(s). Returning guests may also be asked to update an intake form at any time to the discretion of Reverie Beauty Co.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you arrive late, I can accommodate you and do my best with the time we have remaining, but your appointment will end at your scheduled time and you will be expected to pay the full service fee.

FILLS

It is recommended to book fills within 3-5 weeks. Anything past 5 weeks will need to be booked as a Returning Client Full Set as most clients’ lashes last 3-5 weeks. There may be some wiggle room, at my discretion.

MOBILE DEVICES

Cell phone usage is highly discouraged during appointments. Please SILENCE all cell devices. Headphones are encouraged if you wish to listen to your own music, audiobooks, or podcasts. Minimizing any interruptions during such an intricate procedure is the goal. Most clients find headphones very helpful in relaxing and taking a lash nap!

CHILDREN

Children are asked to remain in the treatment room with you during your service. If you want to make the most of your time, it would be best for you to leave your children with another caretaker. However, life happens and sometimes your only option is to bring them with you wherever you go! You know your child - if they are able to sit quietly, I’d love to have them in the room.

PETS

I love furry friends! Unfortunately, I can’t have them in the room out of respect for other clients and possible allergies. But please show me pictures!

PAYMENT

All prices and services are subject to change without notice at the discretion of Reverie Beauty Co. I will do my best to keep clients up to date on any changes that may occur. All major credit cards, including AmEx are accepted as well as cash, checks and PayPal and Venmo.

REFUND POLICY

I operate with a satisfaction guaranteed policy that I am very proud of. If you feel I missed the mark and I am not able to remedy it with a complimentary touch up appointment within the first week of getting your Full Set of lashes, I will refund you 100%.

HEALTH & SAFETY INFO

People often ask what products are used for lashes - questions range from what kind of hair or fiber is used for the extension (it’s a high grade synthetic polyester made to mimic mink and/or silk) to questions about the adhesive. I order lashes directly from a manufacturer that private labels for many lash companies in the states and can provide manufacturer safety data sheets upon request. In order to answer any questions specifically about adhesive, it’s important to discern the reason why the question is being asked. Most people who ask about the adhesive are essentially concerned about the possibility of developing an allergy.

If you’re asking what brand of adhesive I use in hopes of avoiding an allergic reaction, the short answer is that the brand doesn’t matter. The kind of semi-permanent adhesive used for lash extension application is a type of adhesive called a cyanoacrylate. A small percentage of people can develop an allergic reaction to the adhesive (3%-5% of the population is allergic). The allergy usually presents after 3-4 exposures to the adhesive. For those who are allergic, the morning after their appointment, the lids of the eyes will be puffy - more swollen than a night of crying. The eyeballs themselves will be clear - no redness or discharge. The skin on the lids of the eye is what has the allergic reaction, otherwise known as contact dermatitis. This condition cannot be avoided by changing brands of adhesive. It will occur every time professional lash extensions are applied to an allergic person using the cyanoacrylate, which is the only type of adhesive a lash artist can use. However, there is relief and clients can continue to enjoy extensions with the allergy, but it will require a visit to a doctor or an ophthalmologist familiar with working with the nuances of extensions in order to obtain a prescription ointment that will prevent the reaction from occurring when lashes are reapplied.

If you have suffered from this kind of allergy, there is relief available and it is not based upon changing name brands of adhesive, or using a “sensitive” adhesive. I am confident we can continue to do your lashes if you have the allergy! For a more comprehensive understanding of the lash allergy, please refer to my guide.
